Product Overview

Across installations such as day spas and compact medical centres running half a dozen outlets at once, the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRNE 5-8 maintains stable pressure at every draw-off point. Specify part number 99752235 and the whole set lands tested, assembled and ready for pipework.

It handles flows up to 307 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 78 metres of head when pressure demand increases. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 1 x 200-240 V power at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 17.5 A, with IP55 motor protection and a 10 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Expect it on hospitals and mixed-use commercial buildings sites, plus hotel plant rooms duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 50 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP55.
  • The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • The system pairs two CRNE 5-8 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
  • At P2 each main pump is 1.5 kW, covering the duty without oversizing the frame.
