Product Overview

Hospital surgical suites and intensive care wards rely on the Hydro Multi-E 2 CRNE 95-1-1 to maintain steady mains pressure. The package operates two Grundfos CRNE 95-1-1 vertical multistage pumps in parallel, automatically staging each unit as flow demand increases. Part number 93368453 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

Discharge throughput reaches up to 5000 L/min across active demand cycles. Multistage vertical hydraulics produce up to 36.4 metres of maximum head. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

Pre-plumbed on a rigid base frame, the assembly incorporates stainless steel pipework, two 200 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 380-415 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with combined rated current of 51.6 A (2 x 25.8 A per pump). Motors carry IP54 sealing with maximum pressure of 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C, and inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Primary deployment environments include high-rise apartments, hotel plant rooms and schools and universities, where draw demands vary continuously. Variable-speed motor modulation makes the set a practical clean-water pressure-boosting solution for both new plant rooms and system upgrades.

FEATURES

  • Two Grundfos CRNE 95-1-1 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 200 mm manifold connections ready for plant pipework.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a smartphone.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Each main pump is rated 7.5 kW (P2), so per-pump draw scales down as speed follows demand.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
  • Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
  • Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
