Product Overview

Sites such as business parks adding tenancies faster than their mains can serve require consistent pressure regardless of demand fluctuation; the Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE 10-10 achieves this with three CRE 10-10 pumps operating in parallel. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 99657286.

Flow capacity reaches 767 L/min. Up to 145 metres of head is available to maintain pressure as demand changes. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 80 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 381-415 V at 60 Hz with a rated current of 32.9 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 16 bar.

Its home ground covers schools and universities, industrial process supply and hospitals. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.

Features

  • The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Each main pump is rated 5.5 kW (P2), so per-pump draw scales down as speed follows demand.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 80 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
  • Three Grundfos CRE 10-10 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
