Product Overview
Sites such as mixed-use buildings where a single booster covers retail, offices and apartments require consistent pressure regardless of demand fluctuation; the Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE 10-2 achieves this with three CRE 10-2 pumps operating in parallel. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 99614386.
It handles flows up to 660 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 28 metres of head when pressure demand increases. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.
The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 80 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 5.55 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.
Typical duty sits with industrial process supply, schools and universities and aged-care complexes. It is designed for clean-water pressure boosting where demand varies through the day.
Features
- Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
- Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
- Rated 0.75 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
- An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
- Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
- Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
- Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
- Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
- The system pairs three CRE 10-2 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
- Stainless steel manifolds provide two 80 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
- Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
- Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
- The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
