Product Overview

In gymnasiums, aquatic centres and student housing running wall-to-wall showers, the simultaneous demand of the morning peak places heavy loads on the supply; the Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE 10-4 answers with three CRE 10-4 pumps operating in parallel. Specify part number 99614351 and the whole set lands tested, assembled and ready for pipework.

This set provides up to 668 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 57 metres of head where required. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 80 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 3 x 380-415 V power at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 9.3 A, with IP54 motor protection and a 10 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Its home ground covers aged-care complexes, industrial process supply and hospitals. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.

Features

  • Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to IE5 permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
  • Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
  • Rated 1.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
  • Three Grundfos CRE 10-4 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 80 mm manifold connections.
  • Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
