Product Overview

In gymnasiums, aquatic centres and student housing running wall-to-wall showers, the simultaneous demand of the morning peak places heavy loads on the supply; the Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE 10-6 answers with three CRE 10-6 pumps operating in parallel. Specify part number 99614423 and the whole set lands tested, assembled and ready for pipework.

This set provides up to 744 L/min of flow capacity. Variable-speed operation can develop up to 87 metres of head where required. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 80 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 380-415 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 18.6 A. Motors are protected to IP54, while maximum system pressure is 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Its home ground covers industrial process supply, hospitals and hotel plant rooms. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.

Features

  • Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
  • Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • The system pairs three CRE 10-6 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 80 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Rated 3 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to IE5 permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
  • Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
