Product Overview

For tea rooms, staff kitchens and en-suite banks in small commercial sites, a factory-assembled Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE 3-4 package provides a well-matched solution, with three CRE 3-4 pumps staged against the demand curve. Quote part number 99614239 to have it arrive pre-configured and ready for the plant room.

Flow capacity reaches 232 L/min. Up to 37 metres of head is available to maintain pressure as demand changes. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 380-415 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 3.42 A. Motors are protected to IP54, while maximum system pressure is 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Expect it on industrial process supply and schools and universities sites, plus high-rise apartments duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • Three Grundfos CRE 3-4 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 50 mm manifold connections.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
  • Rated 0.37 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
