Product Overview

For holiday units and boutique apartment blocks juggling showers at the morning peak, a factory-assembled Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE 3-8 package provides a well-matched solution, with three CRE 3-8 pumps staged against the demand curve. One factory-tested package replaces a shelf of loose components; order part number 99614272 to put it on site.

Flow capacity reaches 237 L/min. Up to 74 metres of head is available to maintain pressure as demand changes. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 5.55 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Applications include schools and universities, hotel plant rooms and industrial process supply. The control flexibility suits clean-water boosting in new installations and upgrades.

Features

  • Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • Rated 0.75 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to IE5 permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
  • No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 50 mm manifold connections.
  • The controller tracks the pressure setpoint with proportional deviation alerts before conditions become faults.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • The system pairs three CRE 3-8 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
