Product Overview
The Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE32-1-1 is a proven fit for distribution depots and cold stores running continuous hose-down stations, with three Grundfos CRE 32-1 pumps staged automatically as demand varies. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 93320233.
Flow capacity reaches 2001 L/min. Up to 22 metres of head is available to maintain pressure as demand changes. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.
The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 150 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 8.5 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.
Applications include high-rise apartments, hotel plant rooms and aged-care complexes. The control flexibility suits clean-water boosting in new installations and upgrades.
Features
- Three Grundfos CRE 32-1 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
- Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
- Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
- The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
- Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
- Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
- Rated 1.5 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
- Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
- Stainless steel manifolds provide two 150 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
- Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
- The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
- Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
- Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
