Product Overview

In processing plants and multi-storey carparks whose boosters never truly idle, the simultaneous demand of the morning peak places heavy loads on the supply; the Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE32-5-2 answers with three CRE 32-5 pumps operating in parallel. Part number 93320241 provides the complete tested package in a single order line.

The system supports flow rates up to 2210 L/min. It can develop up to 126 metres of head for dependable pressure boosting. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 150 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 58.7 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 16 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 16 bar.

Its home ground covers industrial process supply, high-rise apartments and aged-care complexes. The variable-speed system suits clean-water boosting duties with changing demand.

Features

  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • Rated 11 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • The system pairs three CRE 32-5 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 150 mm manifold connections.
  • Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to IE5 permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
  • The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
