Product Overview

For small sites where a duty-point review calls for reserve pump capacity, a factory-assembled Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE 5-12 package provides a well-matched solution, with three CRE 5-12 pumps staged against the demand curve. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 99614357.

Flow capacity reaches 458 L/min. Up to 116 metres of head is available to maintain pressure as demand changes. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

For installation, the booster is supplied pre-assembled with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation valves, non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It is designed for 3 x 380-415 V power at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 13.3 A, with IP54 motor protection and a 16 bar maximum system pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 16 bar.

Expect it on aged-care complexes and high-rise apartments sites, plus hospitals duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • Stainless steel manifolds provide two 50 mm manifold connections ready for pipework.
  • Rated 2.2 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
  • Three Grundfos CRE 5-12 pumps share the boosting work in parallel.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • No external controller required: Multi-Master redundancy lets either pump assume the controlling role.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • Cascade logic brings pumps on-line and off-line against changing demand without manual intervention.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 16 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
