Product Overview

For day spas and compact medical centres running half a dozen outlets at once, a factory-assembled Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE 5-2 package provides a well-matched solution, with three CRE 5-2 pumps staged against the demand curve. Specify part number 99614321 and the whole set lands tested, assembled and ready for pipework.

The system supports flow rates up to 493 L/min. It can develop up to 19 metres of head for dependable pressure boosting. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 1 x 200-240 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 10 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Expect it on hospitals and high-rise apartments sites, plus hotel plant rooms duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • Frequency converters on the motors pair with IE5 permanent magnet motors for efficient part-load operation.
  • Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
  • The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 50 mm manifold connections.
  • Factory assembled and wet-tested, the set arrives pre-configured for straightforward installation.
  • Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
  • At P2 each main pump is 0.55 kW, covering the duty without oversizing the frame.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • Three Grundfos CRE 5-2 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
