Product Overview

In holiday units and boutique apartment blocks juggling showers at the morning peak, the simultaneous demand of the morning peak places heavy loads on the supply; the Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE 5-4 answers with three CRE 5-4 pumps operating in parallel. One factory-tested package replaces a shelf of loose components; order part number 99614345 to put it on site.

The system supports flow rates up to 457 L/min. It can develop up to 39 metres of head for dependable pressure boosting. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

The three-pump package arrives as one base-mounted assembly with stainless steel manifolds, two 50 mm manifold connections, valves, sensors and a pressure gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. Electrical supply is 3 x 380-415 V at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 5.55 A. The motors have IP54 protection and the system is rated to 10 bar maximum pressure. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Expect it on industrial process supply and mixed-use commercial buildings sites, plus schools and universities duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • Rated 0.75 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • The system protects its pumps against dry running if the incoming supply is lost.
  • The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to IE5 permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
  • Three Grundfos CRE 5-4 vertical multistage pumps run in parallel on one common base frame.
  • Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • Power use precisely tracks demand, avoiding the waste of fixed-speed alternates.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 50 mm manifold connections.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
