Product Overview

Where showers, coffee machines and dishwashers competing for one limited mains feed are served from a single booster, the Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE 5-7 holds pressure steady as three CRE 5-7 pumps respond to changing flow. Everything is ordered under the single part number 99657284.

It handles flows up to 430 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 68 metres of head when pressure demand increases. There is no separate central controller to purchase: Multi-Master control resides within the pumps, either unit can assume the controlling role, and a fault is handed over cleanly without interrupting supply.

Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 50 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 380-415 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 7.11 A. Motors are protected to IP54, while maximum system pressure is 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Expect it on mixed-use commercial buildings and hotel plant rooms sites, plus schools and universities duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • The system pairs three CRE 5-7 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
  • Integrated Grundfos GO compatibility supports configuration, logging and diagnostics from a phone.
  • Both constant-pressure and proportional-pressure modes are available, so plant rooms can tune response to pipework.
  • Slow-speed duty and staged switching keep consumption down through low-demand hours.
  • An integrated 24L diaphragm tank carries small draw-offs and limits pump cycling.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 50 mm manifold connections.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
  • Maximum operating pressure of 10 bar with motors sealed to IP54.
  • Each pump is driven by IE5 permanent magnet motors with frequency-controlled speed matching demand.
  • Pumps are cut in and out according to demand, every running unit turning at the same speed to hold the pressure set point.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • At P2 each main pump is 1.1 kW, covering the duty without oversizing the frame.
