Product Overview

Industrial wash-down lines and fire-ring make-up feeds running flat out rely on booster systems with no tolerance for pressure variation, and the Hydro Multi-E 3 CRE64-2-2 is engineered for exactly that duty. The complete system ships factory assembled and tested under part number 93320267.

It handles flows up to 4847 L/min across the system. The pumps can develop up to 58 metres of head when pressure demand increases. Because every pump carries its own frequency converter and the Multi-Master software elects the controlling pump itself, losing a control unit or pressure sensor means seamless handover rather than a shutdown.

Factory assembled on a common base, the set combines stainless steel pipework, two 200 mm manifold connections, isolation and non-return valves, pressure sensors and a gauge, plus a 24L diaphragm tank. It connects to a 3 x 380-415 V supply at 50 / 60 Hz with a rated current of 58.7 A. Motors are protected to IP54, while maximum system pressure is 10 bar. Liquid-temperature suitability is 5°C to 60°C. Inlet pressure is rated to 10 bar.

Expect it on mixed-use commercial buildings and schools and universities sites, plus industrial process supply duties. It provides clean-water pressure boosting for both new plant rooms and refits.

Features

  • Variable speed comes from frequency converters matched to IE5 permanent magnet motors, keeping the booster set in its efficient range.
  • Setup and monitoring run through the Grundfos GO app rather than a panel visit.
  • The package is wet-tested and pre-configured, requiring only pipework and power on site.
  • Constant pressure control holds the delivered pressure flat while proportional mode lets setpoints flex with demand.
  • The set ships with an 24L precharged diaphragm tank for low-flow stability.
  • The system pairs three CRE 64-2 pumps in parallel duty, controlled as a single coordinated system.
  • Pump staging follows demand automatically: pumps enter at low speed as pressure drops, ramp to equal speed, and exit as flow fades.
  • Rated for 10 bar system pressure; motors carry IP54 protection.
  • Energy draw matches the actual job because speed follows demand, not a fixed curve.
  • Dry-running protection is built into the control, protecting the pumps if the suction supply is interrupted.
  • The stainless steel manifold assembly is supplied with two 200 mm manifold connections.
  • Rated 11 kW (P2) on every main pump in the frame.
  • Multi-Master redundancy means either pump can act as controller, with seamless changeover on fault.
