Product Overview
Plant hydronic heating circuits and boiler manifolds deploy the Grundfos NB 100-250/274 end-suction pump. Powered by a 15 kW electric drive, piping connects via an axial DN 125 suction port and a radial DN 100 discharge interface.
Hydraulic output parameter provides approx. 3848 L/Min fluid displacement against a approx. 25.9 m head threshold. A cataphoretically coated EN-GJL-250 cast iron casing houses the precision stainless steel impeller and BQQE mechanical shaft seal. Total net product weight measures 231 kg.
An operating draw of 28.7 Amps powers the 15 kW motor from a 415 V three-phase line connection. Permissible media temperatures range between -25°C to 120°C under system pressures up to 16 bar. Flanged line ports measure DN 125 for suction and DN 100 for discharge.
Enclosure sealing design satisfies IP55 ingress standards with Class F electrical insulation. The motor requires external overload protection in the electrical control panel. A back-pull-out mechanical design enables service personnel to extract the impeller and drive assembly without dismantling pipe flanges.
Features
- Integral casing support feet provide direct anchoring to plant room inertia bases and plinths.
- Precision balanced rotating components reduce hydraulic noise and mechanical shaft deflection.
- Renewable casing wear rings retain pump efficiency and avoid direct volute casing wear.
- Solid shaft assembly with sealed ball bearings absorbs operational hydraulic and radial forces.
- EN1092-2 flanged connections conform to standard PN16 pipework dimensions.
- Continuous duty S1 rated electric drive motor operates in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
- Back-pull-out layout permits motor and impeller servicing without breaking pipe connections.
