Product Overview

Central energy transfer skids and secondary hydronic circuits feature the Grundfos NB 125-250/269 centrifugal pump. Coupled to a 30 kW motor drive, fluid enters through an axial DN 150 suction port and exits through a radial DN 125 discharge flange.

Discharge delivery rating delivers approx. 6763 L/Min liquid volume while developing approx. 24.9 m maximum head. Constructed with an EN-GJL-250 cast iron volute protected by cataphoretic electrocoating, internal hydraulics feature a stainless steel impeller and BQQE mechanical shaft seal. Net weight is 376 kg.

Line electrical input requires 57.9 Amps from a 415 V three-phase line to deliver 30 kW rated output. Working tolerances accommodate fluid temperatures spanning -25°C to 120°C at pressures reaching 16 bar. Flanged connections feature DN 150 inlet and DN 125 outlet dimensions.

Assembly enclosure features an IP55 rating combined with Class F thermal insulation. Because built-in thermal protection is not included, external motor overload protection must be supplied. Maintenance is streamlined via a back-pull-out arrangement allowing rotating element removal while the casing remains connected to piping.

Features

  • Internal wear rings retain hydraulic clearance tolerances throughout long service cycles.
  • Solid stub shaft supported by sealed ball bearings carries axial and radial loads.
  • Standard PN16 flanged port interfaces align with EN1092-2 heating and cooling headers.
  • Totally enclosed fan cooled IEC motor rated for S1 duty cycles in ambient environments up to 40°C.
  • Service-friendly back-pull-out layout enables rotating element servicing without removing pipework.
  • Balanced impeller geometry and shaft construction reduce operational vibration throughout duty range.
  • Volute casing design incorporates integral base feet for direct mounting to concrete plinths.

How much running amperage and motor output power this pump drive?

Featuring a robust 30 kW motor, the Grundfos NB 125-250/269 operates on a 415 V three-phase supply, drawing 57.9 Amps with IP55 protection.

How does the pump housing construction resist mechanical piping strain?

High-grade EN-GJL-250 cast iron forms the casing of the NB 125-250/269, housing a stainless steel impeller for lasting service.

How much liquid displacement and dynamic head does this pump supply?

Supplying approx. 6763 L/Min in liquid flow and approx. 24.9 m in dynamic head, the NB-125-250-269 accommodates diverse operating conditions.

Which seal type and wear rings are fitted to this centrifugal pump assembly?

The NB 125 250 269 utilizes a robust BQQE mechanical shaft seal and replaceable wear rings to prevent fluid loss and preserve internal clearances.

How is ongoing drive maintenance made convenient by the back-pull-out design?

Extracting the rotating assembly on the NB/125/250/269 requires no pipe disconnection, thanks to its back-pull-out maintenance architecture.
