Product Overview

Building air conditioning manifolds and condenser circuits feature the Grundfos NB 40-160/162 centrifugal pump. Powered by a 0.75 kW electric drive, piping connects via an axial DN 65 suction port and a radial DN 40 discharge interface.

Fluid discharge capacity attains 359 L/Min rated throughput with a maximum head elevation of 7.651 m. A cataphoretically coated EN-GJL-250 cast iron casing houses the precision stainless steel impeller and BQQE mechanical shaft seal. Total net product weight measures 42 kg.

Standard 415 V three-phase power operates the 0.75 kW motor, pulling 1.6 Amps full-load running current. Permissible media temperatures range between -25°C to 120°C under system pressures up to 16 bar. Flanged line ports measure DN 65 for suction and DN 40 for discharge.

Motor construction satisfies IP55 environmental protection standards with Class F insulation. The motor requires external overload protection in the electrical control panel. A back-pull-out mechanical design enables service personnel to extract the impeller and drive assembly without dismantling pipe flanges.

Features

  • High-efficiency IEC electric drive motor rated for S1 continuous operation in ambient conditions up to 40°C.
  • Back-pull-out construction allows drive and impeller removal without disconnecting suction or discharge lines.
  • Precision balanced rotor and runner assemblies minimize operating vibration across all pump speeds.
  • Cast iron volute casing with integral mounting feet absorbs hydraulic forces and pipework stresses.
  • Replaceable wear rings retain correct internal hydraulic clearances over long operating periods.
  • Solid stub shaft configuration supported by deep groove ball bearings absorbs axial thrust loads.
  • Standardized EN1092-2 PN16 flange dimensions match standard commercial and district pipe manifolds.
