Product Overview
Mechanical heating skids and hydronic supply headers rely on the Grundfos NB 40-160/177 end-suction pump. The unit couples a 1.1 kW drive motor to an axial DN 65 inlet nozzle and a radial DN 40 discharge connection.
Discharge performance generates 373 L/Min flow volume alongside a 10.17 m maximum developed head. Volute casing construction features EN-GJL-250 cast iron with cataphoretic electrocoating, paired with a stainless steel impeller and BQQE shaft seal. Product net weight equals 47 kg.
Equipped for 415 V three-phase power, the motor requires 2.34 Amps current draw to provide 1.1 kW output. Operating limits support liquid temperatures from -25°C to 120°C and maximum system pressures of 16 bar. Flanged pipework attaches via DN 65 inlet and DN 40 outlet ports.
Drive frame construction incorporates IP55 ingress protection and Class F insulation. Standard motor installation requires external electrical overload protection. The back-pull-out design allows complete drive and rotating assembly extraction while leaving the casing secured to distribution pipework.
Features
- Back-pull-out layout permits motor and impeller servicing without breaking pipe connections.
- Integral casing support feet provide direct anchoring to plant room inertia bases and plinths.
- Precision balanced rotating components reduce hydraulic noise and mechanical shaft deflection.
- Renewable casing wear rings retain pump efficiency and avoid direct volute casing wear.
- Solid shaft assembly with sealed ball bearings absorbs operational hydraulic and radial forces.
- EN1092-2 flanged connections conform to standard PN16 pipework dimensions.
- Continuous duty S1 rated electric drive motor operates in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
