Product Overview
Plant room mechanical piping and hydronic circulation lines feature the Grundfos NB 40-315/283 end-suction pump. Fitted with a 3 kW motor, system piping interfaces through an axial DN 65 suction port and a radial DN 40 discharge flange.
Rated pumping capacity provides 329 L/Min liquid displacement with a 19.08 m maximum developed head. Housing construction features cataphoretically coated EN-GJL-250 cast iron, accommodating a stainless steel impeller and a BQQE mechanical seal. Net weight measures 125 kg.
Three-phase 415 V power powers the 3 kW electric motor with an operating current of 6.23 Amps. Fluid temperature capabilities range from -25°C to 120°C under working pressure limits up to 16 bar. Flange interfaces are dimensioned at DN 65 inlet and DN 40 outlet.
Environmental sealing achieves an IP55 enclosure rating with Class F winding insulation. External motor overload protection must be provided by the installer. The back-pull-out construction allows extraction of the motor and rotating components without disturbing suction or discharge pipe connections.
Features
- IEC standardized electric drive rated for continuous S1 operation in ambients up to 40°C.
- Back-pull-out arrangement allows fast access to motor and impeller without disturbing pipework.
- Precision balancing of rotating parts delivers quiet, low-vibration fluid transfer.
- Heavy-section cast iron volute with integral mounting pads provides solid base support.
- Replaceable wear rings protect casing hydraulics and retain designed pumping clearances.
- Solid stub shaft and ball bearing arrangement counteracts operating mechanical stresses.
- Standardized PN16 dimensions per EN1092-2 align with facility pipe headers.
