Product Overview
Cooling tower circuit lines and heat rejection stations integrate the Grundfos NB 50-125/112 centrifugal pump. Powered by a 0.37 kW electric drive, piping connects via an axial DN 65 suction port and a radial DN 50 discharge interface.
Pumping displacement generates 460 L/Min volumetric flow and overcomes a 2.659 m maximum head. A cataphoretically coated EN-GJL-250 cast iron casing houses the precision stainless steel impeller and BQQE mechanical shaft seal. Total net product weight measures 35 kg.
An incoming 415 V three-phase feed drives the motor at 0.99 Amps rated draw for 0.37 kW power delivery. Permissible media temperatures range between -25°C to 120°C under system pressures up to 16 bar. Flanged line ports measure DN 65 for suction and DN 50 for discharge.
Ingress sealing complies with IP55 standards, complemented by Class F motor insulation. The motor requires external overload protection in the electrical control panel. A back-pull-out mechanical design enables service personnel to extract the impeller and drive assembly without dismantling pipe flanges.
Features
- Volute casing design incorporates integral base feet for direct mounting to concrete plinths.
- Internal wear rings retain hydraulic clearance tolerances throughout long service cycles.
- Solid stub shaft supported by sealed ball bearings carries axial and radial loads.
- Standard PN16 flanged port interfaces align with EN1092-2 heating and cooling headers.
- Totally enclosed fan cooled IEC motor rated for S1 duty cycles in ambient environments up to 40°C.
- Service-friendly back-pull-out layout enables rotating element servicing without removing pipework.
- Balanced impeller geometry and shaft construction reduce operational vibration throughout duty range.
