Product Overview
Multi-level hydronic networks and central utility stations use the Grundfos NB 50-200/219 end-suction pump. The unit couples a 3 kW drive motor to an axial DN 65 inlet nozzle and a radial DN 50 discharge connection.
Volumetric throughput delivers 744 L/Min rated discharge with a 13.87 m maximum developed head. Volute casing construction features EN-GJL-250 cast iron with cataphoretic electrocoating, paired with a stainless steel impeller and BQQE shaft seal. Product net weight equals 90 kg.
A supply feed of 415 V three-phase energizes the 3 kW motor, pulling 6.23 Amps under full load. Operating limits support liquid temperatures from -25°C to 120°C and maximum system pressures of 16 bar. Flanged pipework attaches via DN 65 inlet and DN 50 outlet ports.
Enclosure design incorporates an IP55 ingress rating and Class F temperature insulation. Standard motor installation requires external electrical overload protection. The back-pull-out design allows complete drive and rotating assembly extraction while leaving the casing secured to distribution pipework.
Features
- Continuous duty S1 rated electric drive motor operates in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
- Back-pull-out layout permits motor and impeller servicing without breaking pipe connections.
- Integral casing support feet provide direct anchoring to plant room inertia bases and plinths.
- Precision balanced rotating components reduce hydraulic noise and mechanical shaft deflection.
- Renewable casing wear rings retain pump efficiency and avoid direct volute casing wear.
- Solid shaft assembly with sealed ball bearings absorbs operational hydraulic and radial forces.
- EN1092-2 flanged connections conform to standard PN16 pipework dimensions.

What connection flange sizes and port orientations are featured on this centrifugal unit?
Inlet dimensions measure 65 mm axially and discharge measures 50 mm radially on the Grundfos NB 50-200/219, utilizing PN16 flanged ports.
What peak throughput rate and pumping elevation does this unit develop?
The NB 50-200/219 provides up to 744 L/Min in fluid flow and 13.87 m in dynamic head, depending on system pressure demands.
Is routine mechanical servicing streamlined by the back-pull-out layout?
Plant maintenance on the NB-50-200-219 leaves facility pipework connected, utilizing a back-pull-out layout for fast mechanical servicing.
What mechanical seal type and internal clearances protect against fluid leakage along the drive shaft?
Fluid containment in the NB 50 200 219 is maintained by a BQQE mechanical shaft seal, supported by replaceable wear rings that preserve hydraulic clearances.
Can this pump circulate hot thermal media under standard system pressures?
The NB/50/200/219 safely accommodates pumped fluid temperatures from -25°C to 120°C under working pressure limits up to 16 bar.
