Product Overview
Facility condenser water circuits and cooling manifold skids rely on the Grundfos NB 50-250/221 centrifugal pump. Fitted with a 2.2 kW motor, system piping interfaces through an axial DN 65 suction port and a radial DN 50 discharge flange.
Rated hydraulic performance generates 584 L/Min flow and reaches a maximum head limit of 13.61 m. Housing construction features cataphoretically coated EN-GJL-250 cast iron, accommodating a stainless steel impeller and a BQQE mechanical seal. Net weight measures 74 kg.
Operating from 415 V three-phase connections, the 2.2 kW drive requires 4.5 Amps nominal running current. Fluid temperature capabilities range from -25°C to 120°C under working pressure limits up to 16 bar. Flange interfaces are dimensioned at DN 65 inlet and DN 50 outlet.
External enclosure protection provides an IP55 environmental rating with Class F insulation materials. External motor overload protection must be provided by the installer. The back-pull-out construction allows extraction of the motor and rotating components without disturbing suction or discharge pipe connections.
Features
- Service-friendly back-pull-out layout enables rotating element servicing without removing pipework.
- Balanced impeller geometry and shaft construction reduce operational vibration throughout duty range.
- Volute casing design incorporates integral base feet for direct mounting to concrete plinths.
- Internal wear rings retain hydraulic clearance tolerances throughout long service cycles.
- Solid stub shaft supported by sealed ball bearings carries axial and radial loads.
- Standard PN16 flanged port interfaces align with EN1092-2 heating and cooling headers.
- Totally enclosed fan cooled IEC motor rated for S1 duty cycles in ambient environments up to 40°C.
