Product Overview

Plant cooling headers and heat exchanger supply manifolds integrate the Grundfos NB 65-125/120 end-suction pump. Powered by a 0.55 kW electric drive, piping connects via an axial DN 80 suction port and a radial DN 65 discharge interface.

Hydraulic delivery rating attains approx. 995 L/Min volumetric throughput with a approx. 3.7 m maximum head. A cataphoretically coated EN-GJL-250 cast iron casing houses the precision stainless steel impeller and BQQE mechanical shaft seal. Total net product weight measures 45 kg.

Drive power of 0.55 kW is produced across a 415 V three-phase connection at a draw of 1.23 Amps. Permissible media temperatures range between -25°C to 120°C under system pressures up to 16 bar. Flanged line ports measure DN 80 for suction and DN 65 for discharge.

Physical frame protection incorporates an IP55 ingress rating and Class F insulation. The motor requires external overload protection in the electrical control panel. A back-pull-out mechanical design enables service personnel to extract the impeller and drive assembly without dismantling pipe flanges.

Features

  • Renewable casing wear rings retain pump efficiency and avoid direct volute casing wear.
  • Solid shaft assembly with sealed ball bearings absorbs operational hydraulic and radial forces.
  • EN1092-2 flanged connections conform to standard PN16 pipework dimensions.
  • Continuous duty S1 rated electric drive motor operates in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
  • Back-pull-out layout permits motor and impeller servicing without breaking pipe connections.
  • Integral casing support feet provide direct anchoring to plant room inertia bases and plinths.
  • Precision balanced rotating components reduce hydraulic noise and mechanical shaft deflection.

How much supply voltage and operating current are needed for this motor?

Electrical supply for the Grundfos NB 65-125/120 requires a 415 V three-phase connection, powering a 0.55 kW motor drawing 1.23 Amps with IP55 protection.

What mechanical seal type and internal clearances protect this pump casing against mechanical fluid loss?

Shaft sealing on the NB 65-125/120 is provided by a BQQE mechanical seal alongside replaceable wear rings that protect internal hydraulic geometry.

What maximum fluid volume and elevation head can this unit deliver?

Operating capacity on the NB-65-125-120 reaches approx. 995 L/Min in liquid flow and approx. 3.7 m in dynamic head across duty cycles.

How does the casing construction protect this pump from hydraulic wear?

The NB 65 125 120 features an electrocoated EN-GJL-250 cast iron volute and a precision stainless steel impeller for lasting durability.

Can maintenance staff inspect internal rotating parts without dismantling piping?

Routine plant servicing is simplified on the NB/65/125/120 by its back-pull-out layout, allowing drive extraction without dismantling pipework.
