Product Overview

Primary heating plant skids and water transfer manifolds deploy the Grundfos NB 65-160/149 end-suction pump. Coupled to a 1.1 kW motor drive, fluid enters through an axial DN 80 suction port and exits through a radial DN 65 discharge flange.

Hydraulic capacity delivers 870 L/Min volumetric flow against an upper head limit of 5.739 m. Constructed with an EN-GJL-250 cast iron volute protected by cataphoretic electrocoating, internal hydraulics feature a stainless steel impeller and BQQE mechanical shaft seal. Net weight is 53 kg.

Power consumption reaches 2.34 Amps on a 415 V three-phase connection to drive the 1.1 kW motor. Working tolerances accommodate fluid temperatures spanning -25°C to 120°C at pressures reaching 16 bar. Flanged connections feature DN 80 inlet and DN 65 outlet dimensions.

Motor enclosure construction provides an IP55 ingress rating and Class F insulation. Because built-in thermal protection is not included, external motor overload protection must be supplied. Maintenance is streamlined via a back-pull-out arrangement allowing rotating element removal while the casing remains connected to piping.

Features

  • Back-pull-out layout permits motor and impeller servicing without breaking pipe connections.
  • Integral casing support feet provide direct anchoring to plant room inertia bases and plinths.
  • Precision balanced rotating components reduce hydraulic noise and mechanical shaft deflection.
  • Renewable casing wear rings retain pump efficiency and avoid direct volute casing wear.
  • Solid shaft assembly with sealed ball bearings absorbs operational hydraulic and radial forces.
  • EN1092-2 flanged connections conform to standard PN16 pipework dimensions.
  • Continuous duty S1 rated electric drive motor operates in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
