Product Overview
Facility heating loops and boiler plant headers operate with the Grundfos NB 65-200/170 centrifugal pump. Fitted with a 1.5 kW motor, system piping interfaces through an axial DN 80 suction port and a radial DN 65 discharge flange.
Rated liquid throughput provides approx. 994 L/Min operational flow with a maximum head elevation of approx. 9.8 m. Housing construction features cataphoretically coated EN-GJL-250 cast iron, accommodating a stainless steel impeller and a BQQE mechanical seal. Net weight measures 68 kg.
Incoming power at 415 V three-phase operates the drive at 3.15 Amps for 1.5 kW motor shaft output. Fluid temperature capabilities range from -25°C to 120°C under working pressure limits up to 16 bar. Flange interfaces are dimensioned at DN 80 inlet and DN 65 outlet.
The outer casing features IP55 ingress sealing and Class F electrical insulation. External motor overload protection must be provided by the installer. The back-pull-out construction allows extraction of the motor and rotating components without disturbing suction or discharge pipe connections.
Features
- Replaceable wear rings retain correct internal hydraulic clearances over long operating periods.
- Solid stub shaft configuration supported by deep groove ball bearings absorbs axial thrust loads.
- Standardized EN1092-2 PN16 flange dimensions match standard commercial and district pipe manifolds.
- High-efficiency IEC electric drive motor maximum flow of S1 continuous operation in ambient conditions up to 40°C.
- Back-pull-out construction allows drive and impeller removal without disconnecting suction or discharge lines.
- Precision balanced rotor and runner assemblies minimize operating vibration across all pump speeds.
- Cast iron volute casing with integral mounting feet absorbs hydraulic forces and pipework stresses.

What motor rating and three-phase connection operate this pump?
Motor drive on the Grundfos NB 65-200/170 delivers 1.5 kW across a 415 V three-phase supply, drawing 3.15 Amps with IP55 protection.
Can service personnel access rotating components while the casing remains attached to piping?
Routine plant servicing is simplified on the NB 65-200/170 by its back-pull-out layout, allowing drive extraction without dismantling pipework.
How much liquid movement and vertical pressure can this pump provide?
The NB-65-200-170 provides approx. 994 L/Min in fluid flow and approx. 9.8 m in dynamic head, depending on system pressure demands.
What media temperature boundaries and maximum line pressures are allowed?
Working limits on the NB 65 200 170 accommodate fluid temperatures from -25°C to 120°C with maximum system pressures reaching 16 bar.
Which shaft sealing design and internal wear components prevent internal liquid leakage on this pump?
Fluid containment in the NB/65/200/170 is maintained by a BQQE mechanical shaft seal, supported by replaceable wear rings that preserve hydraulic clearances.
