Product Overview
Building service utility skids and chilled water circuits deploy the Grundfos NB 65-315/282 centrifugal pump. Powered by a 7.5 kW electric drive, piping connects via an axial DN 80 suction port and a radial DN 65 discharge interface.
Rated pumping throughput generates 1177 L/Min liquid output and reaches a 25.11 m head threshold. A cataphoretically coated EN-GJL-250 cast iron casing houses the precision stainless steel impeller and BQQE mechanical shaft seal. Total net product weight measures 161 kg.
Connecting to a 415 V three-phase feed, the drive draws 14.6 Amps while delivering 7.5 kW motor output. Permissible media temperatures range between -25°C to 120°C under system pressures up to 16 bar. Flanged line ports measure DN 80 for suction and DN 65 for discharge.
Physical motor protection complies with IP55 environmental criteria and Class F insulation. The motor requires external overload protection in the electrical control panel. A back-pull-out mechanical design enables service personnel to extract the impeller and drive assembly without dismantling pipe flanges.
Features
- Solid stub shaft configuration supported by deep groove ball bearings absorbs axial thrust loads.
- Standardized EN1092-2 PN16 flange dimensions match standard commercial and district pipe manifolds.
- High-efficiency IEC electric drive motor rated for S1 continuous operation in ambient conditions up to 40°C.
- Back-pull-out construction allows drive and impeller removal without disconnecting suction or discharge lines.
- Precision balanced rotor and runner assemblies minimize operating vibration across all pump speeds.
- Cast iron volute casing with integral mounting feet absorbs hydraulic forces and pipework stresses.
- Replaceable wear rings retain correct internal hydraulic clearances over long operating periods.

What liquid thermal boundaries and maximum pressure limits are supported?
Fluid boundaries for the Grundfos NB 65-315/282 safely tolerate media from -25°C to 120°C under system pressures up to 16 bar.
How much volumetric circulation and dynamic pressure can this pump develop?
Delivering up to 1177 L/Min in volumetric flow and 25.11 m in dynamic head, the NB 65-315/282 adapts across its curve.
Does routine motor servicing require disconnecting the pump from facility headers?
Extracting the rotating assembly on the NB-65-315-282 requires no pipe disconnection, thanks to its back-pull-out maintenance architecture.
Which shaft sealing design and internal wear components maintain internal hydraulic clearances on this unit?
Dynamic sealing on the NB 65 315 282 incorporates a BQQE mechanical shaft seal and replaceable wear rings that retain internal clearances.
Which suction intake and discharge port dimensions are featured on this centrifugal unit?
Standard PN16 flanged connections on the NB/65/315/282 include an axial 80 mm suction intake and a radial 65 mm discharge port.
