Product Overview

Secondary cooling water skids and primary chiller manifolds deploy the Grundfos NB 80-160/175 end-suction pump. Powered by a 3 kW electric drive, piping connects via an axial DN 100 suction port and a radial DN 80 discharge interface.

Hydraulic flow capacity provides approx. 2095 L/Min volumetric output while reaching a approx. 9.9 m head limit. A cataphoretically coated EN-GJL-250 cast iron casing houses the precision stainless steel impeller and BQQE mechanical shaft seal. Total net product weight measures 84 kg.

On a 415 V three-phase line, the 3 kW motor operates with an electrical draw of 6.23 Amps. Permissible media temperatures range between -25°C to 120°C under system pressures up to 16 bar. Flanged line ports measure DN 100 for suction and DN 80 for discharge.

Casing structural layout complies with IP55 ingress requirements and Class F insulation. The motor requires external overload protection in the electrical control panel. A back-pull-out mechanical design enables service personnel to extract the impeller and drive assembly without dismantling pipe flanges.

Features

  • Precision balanced rotating components reduce hydraulic noise and mechanical shaft deflection.
  • Renewable casing wear rings retain pump efficiency and avoid direct volute casing wear.
  • Solid shaft assembly with sealed ball bearings absorbs operational hydraulic and radial forces.
  • EN1092-2 flanged connections conform to standard PN16 pipework dimensions.
  • Continuous duty S1 rated electric drive motor operates in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
  • Back-pull-out layout permits motor and impeller servicing without breaking pipe connections.
  • Integral casing support feet provide direct anchoring to plant room inertia bases and plinths.
