Product Overview

Hydronic heating plants and primary chilled water circuits deploy the Grundfos NB 80-200/200 centrifugal pump. Driven by an electric 37 kW motor assembly, the pump incorporates an axial DN 100 suction port and a radial DN 80 discharge connection.

Liquid displacement achieves a rated flow volume of 3330 L/Min alongside a maximum head limit of 46.57 m. The pump housing is cast in EN-GJL-250 iron with cataphoretic electrocoating. Fluid displacement is driven by a stainless steel impeller and a BQQE mechanical shaft seal. Net product weight measures 305 kg.

Operating on a 415 V three-phase electrical feed, the drive draws 68.1 Amps rated current to deliver 37 kW output. Operational limits permit media temperatures from -25°C to 120°C under working pressures up to 16 bar. Flanged pipe connections measure DN 100 on the inlet and DN 80 on the outlet.

Enclosure protection complies with IP55 standards, utilizing Class F insulation materials. Standard IEC electric drive design requires external motor overload protection. The back-pull-out structural layout permits complete motor and rotating assembly extraction without disconnecting piping headers.

Features

  • Precision balanced rotor and runner assemblies minimize operating vibration across all pump speeds.
  • Cast iron volute casing with integral mounting feet absorbs hydraulic forces and pipework stresses.
  • Replaceable wear rings retain correct internal hydraulic clearances over long operating periods.
  • Solid stub shaft configuration supported by deep groove ball bearings absorbs axial thrust loads.
  • Standardized EN1092-2 PN16 flange dimensions match standard commercial and district pipe manifolds.
  • High-efficiency IEC electric drive motor rated for S1 continuous operation in ambient conditions up to 40°C.
  • Back-pull-out construction allows drive and impeller removal without disconnecting suction or discharge lines.

How much water flow and dynamic pressure can this pump develop?

Supplying up to 3330 L/Min in liquid flow and 46.57 m in dynamic head, the Grundfos NB 80-200/200 accommodates diverse operating conditions.

What suction and discharge flange dimensions connect this pump to facility pipework?

The NB 80-200/200 features an axial 100 mm suction port and a radial 80 mm discharge port with standard PN16 flanged connections.

What electrical supply and motor power are needed to run this pump?

Operating on a 415 V three-phase supply, the NB-80-200-200 utilizes a 37 kW motor drawing 68.1 Amps with IP55 weatherproof protection.

Does this pump require disconnecting pipework during routine mechanical servicing?

Plant maintenance on the NB 80 200 200 leaves facility pipework connected, utilizing a back-pull-out layout for fast mechanical servicing.

What shaft sealing mechanism and wear protection prevent internal liquid leakage on this pump?

Fluid containment in the NB/80/200/200 is maintained by a BQQE mechanical shaft seal, supported by replaceable wear rings that preserve hydraulic clearances.
