Product Overview
Plant utility room water lines and primary heating loops rely on the Grundfos NB 80-250/244 end-suction pump. Driven by an electric 7.5 kW motor assembly, the pump incorporates an axial DN 100 suction port and a radial DN 80 discharge connection.
Hydraulic throughput output attains approx. 2080 L/Min fluid delivery and overcomes up to approx. 21.9 m head. The pump housing is cast in EN-GJL-250 iron with cataphoretic electrocoating. Fluid displacement is driven by a stainless steel impeller and a BQQE mechanical shaft seal. Net product weight measures 166 kg.
Electric power delivery from a 415 V three-phase source provides 14.6 Amps to deliver 7.5 kW output. Operational limits permit media temperatures from -25°C to 120°C under working pressures up to 16 bar. Flanged pipe connections measure DN 100 on the inlet and DN 80 on the outlet.
Drive casing engineering meets IP55 protection standards, utilizing Class F insulation. Standard IEC electric drive design requires external motor overload protection. The back-pull-out structural layout permits complete motor and rotating assembly extraction without disconnecting piping headers.
Features
- Renewable casing wear rings retain pump efficiency and avoid direct volute casing wear.
- Solid shaft assembly with sealed ball bearings absorbs operational hydraulic and radial forces.
- EN1092-2 flanged connections conform to standard PN16 pipework dimensions.
- Continuous duty S1 rated electric drive motor operates in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
- Back-pull-out layout permits motor and impeller servicing without breaking pipe connections.
- Integral casing support feet provide direct anchoring to plant room inertia bases and plinths.
- Precision balanced rotating components reduce hydraulic noise and mechanical shaft deflection.
