Product Overview

Base-mounted hydronic skids and building transfer manifolds deploy the Grundfos NB 80-315/280 end-suction pump. Powered by a 11 kW electric drive, piping connects via an axial DN 100 suction port and a radial DN 80 discharge interface.

Pumping flow rating achieves approx. 2206 L/Min maximum circulation alongside a approx. 27.5 m maximum developed head. A cataphoretically coated EN-GJL-250 cast iron casing houses the precision stainless steel impeller and BQQE mechanical shaft seal. Total net product weight measures 222 kg.

Driven by three-phase 415 V line power, the unit requires 22.3 Amps current to produce 11 kW shaft power. Permissible media temperatures range between -25°C to 120°C under system pressures up to 16 bar. Flanged line ports measure DN 100 for suction and DN 80 for discharge.

Motor shell design features an IP55 enclosure rating alongside Class F insulation. The motor requires external overload protection in the electrical control panel. A back-pull-out mechanical design enables service personnel to extract the impeller and drive assembly without dismantling pipe flanges.

Features

  • Standardized PN16 dimensions per EN1092-2 align with facility pipe headers.
  • IEC standardized electric drive rated for continuous S1 operation in ambients up to 40°C.
  • Back-pull-out arrangement allows fast access to motor and impeller without disturbing pipework.
  • Precision balancing of rotating parts delivers quiet, low-vibration fluid transfer.
  • Heavy-section cast iron volute with integral mounting pads provides solid base support.
  • Replaceable wear rings protect casing hydraulics and retain designed pumping clearances.
  • Solid stub shaft and ball bearing arrangement counteracts operating mechanical stresses.
