    Pairs well with

With flow capacity reaching 23400 L/min and maximum head of 18.1 m, the Grundfos S2.100.300.500.4.62E.C.289.G.N.D.513GPA submersible sewage pump is suited to wastewater, process water and unscreened raw sewage transfer where very high flow rates at low heads are required. The Variant C cooling jacket enables continuous submerged operation at depths up to 20 m.

A 50 kW motor (P2) at 1470 rpm from a 415 V three-phase supply draws 98 A with 89% efficiency at full load and 90% at 3/4 load. The 292 mm impeller delivers the specified performance, with DN300 outlet and DN100 inlet connections carrying a PN10 pressure rating for this configuration.

Hydraulic performance is provided by a 2-channel cast iron impeller with 100 mm free passage, with the impeller diameter and dual-channel configuration matched to the E lifting height class requirements. The impeller geometry determines the head and flow characteristics for this Range 62 model.

Cast iron construction with IP68 enclosure and Class F insulation provides submerged durability, with primary silicon carbide and secondary silicon carbide-carbon shaft seals preventing liquid ingress. Integrated moisture sensors are fitted as standard, and the 15 m H07RN-F AT cable supports Star/Delta starting.

    FEATURES

    • Range 62 Motor Design: The motor frame incorporates standardized external and internal dimensions, cooling system configuration, shaft seal arrangement and bearing specification common to all pumps in the Range 62 series.
    • 2-Channel Cast Iron Impeller: The dual-channel impeller design provides stable hydraulic performance across the operating range while maintaining efficient solids handling capability for municipal wastewater applications.
    • 100 mm Free Passage: The internal clearance through the impeller and volute allows solids and unscreened sewage particulates to pass without blocking the hydraulic flow path during operation.
    • DN300 / DN100 Connection: The outlet connection is sized at DN300 with a PN10 pressure rating, while the inlet connection is DN100, matching the hydraulic design requirements of this configuration.
    • Variant C Cooling Jacket: The integrated cooling jacket surrounds the motor stator to dissipate heat during continuous submerged operation, maintaining stable motor temperatures in wet well installations.
    • IP68 Enclosure Protection: The motor housing is fully sealed against permanent submersion, with the IP68 rating confirming suitability for continuous operation at depths up to 20 m.
    • Silicon Carbide Shaft Seals: The primary shaft seal uses silicon carbide faces while the secondary seal employs a silicon carbide-carbon combination, providing two-stage protection against liquid ingress into the motor compartment.
    • Integrated Moisture Sensors: Sensors are fitted within the motor housing to detect the presence of moisture, providing early indication of potential seal degradation or liquid ingress during service.
