Large-scale utility projects requiring massive volume transfer rely on the Grundfos S2.100.300.500.4.62E.S.289.G.N.D.513 for submerged service in municipal stormwater and sewage networks. This cast iron pump is built for permanent installation in collection sumps where untreated wastewater and sewage contain solids. It maintains consistent hydraulic efficiency in infrastructure with liquid temperatures from 0°C to +40°C.

A 50 kW 4-pole motor provides the torque to achieve a maximum flow of 23400 L/min and 19.7 m head. Drawing 98 Amps from a three-phase 415 V supply, stable motor operation is maintained during massive flow displacement. A Y/D starting method is utilized to maintain pumping performance during heavy-demand cycles in wastewater infrastructure.

The hydraulic system uses a 2-channel cast iron impeller with a 292 mm actual diameter and a 100 mm free passage for managing untreated wastewater. Featuring a DN 300 outlet with DIN flanges, this design facilitates high-efficiency wastewater transfer through municipal collection systems. The hydraulic setup focuses on reducing clogging while maintaining consistent pumping performance.

Structural integrity is provided by the EN-GJL-250 cast iron casing and double SIC/SIC-CARBON mechanical shaft seals. Safety is monitored by integrated moisture sensors and thermal sensors for proactive motor health monitoring in submerged environments. The unit is supplied with a 15-metre H07RN-F power cable and is compatible with the Grundfos DN300 auto-coupling system (96782484).
