Product Overview

Internal fluid velocity paths and hydraulic behavior for the SEV.100.100.55.4.50B utilize a SuperVortex configuration to manage contaminated liquids. This submersible pump addresses the requirements of municipal wastewater networks and sewage collection systems where grey water with a pH range of 4 to 10 is present. The unit is intended for high-volume wastewater transfer and effluent management in collection pits. It maintains stable operation in dry or submerged installations prone to varying fluid ingress and temperatures up to 40°C to support sub-surface infrastructure and pump stations.

Hydraulic performance is driven by a 5.5 kW four-pole motor on a 415v three-phase supply, generating a maximum flow of 2250 L/Min. This model achieves a maximum total head of 16.8 m, making it suitable for discharge in gravity drainage networks and treatment plant transfer duties. Operating with a rated current of 12.8 Amps at 1455 rpm, the unit maintains consistent torque for processing fluids in drainage stations. Rapid evacuation is achieved through the DN 100 discharge port using a 15-metre power cable for secure electrical distribution.

Internal centrifugal design utilizes a SuperVortex impeller to facilitate the passage of solids up to 100 mm in diameter without internal clogging. This configuration handles wastewater in suspension, maintaining volumetric efficiency throughout prolonged service cycles. By utilizing a vortex flow path, the unit minimizes internal vibration and friction to protect the rotating assembly during grey water handling. The impeller configuration is intended for liquids containing organic materials in municipal and industrial wastewater handling applications.

Mechanical stability is achieved through a heavy-duty cast iron housing and motor shell with an IP68 protection rating for permanent dry or submerged installations. The motor is shielded by a double mechanical shaft seal in an oil bath, utilizing a SiC/SiC primary seal for abrasive resistance and a CER/CARNBR secondary seal. This unit features an internal thermal sensor for motor protection and monitoring during continuous operation in aggressive submerged environments. The assembly includes a DN 100 inlet for integration into permanent wastewater infrastructure.

Features

  • SuperVortex impeller design handles solids up to 100 mm without risk of internal blockages during wastewater transfer.
  • Cast iron pump housing and motor shell provide a stable foundation for dry or submerged pit installations up to 20 m deep.
  • Double mechanical shaft seal in an oil bath with silicon carbide faces ensures protection for the 5.5 kW motor.
  • DN 100 inlet and DN 100 outlet connections are sized for wastewater transfer through standard plumbing networks.
  • IP68 enclosure rating ensures the motor remains protected during permanent immersion in contaminated liquids.
  • Four-pole motor operating at 1455 rpm provides torque for processing wastewater containing organic materials.
  • Lyniflex 15-metre power cable provides a secure, chemical-resistant electrical connection for wastewater handling service.
