Product Overview
Developed for large-scale municipal networks, the Grundfos SL.56L.245.6.50D.300 is suitable for high-volume wastewater handling and sewage transfer. This cast iron model is certified under CE EN12050-1 with ROHS and WEEE approvals. It is intended for permanent submerged installation in transfer stations requiring raw effluent handling between 0°C and 40°C.
Performance is delivered by a 24.5 kW 6-pole motor operating at 990 rpm on a 3 x 415 V supply with a rated current of 55 Amps. The pump achieves a maximum head up to 17 m and a maximum flow up to 23820 L/min. The motor is designed for continuous S1 duty, utilizing the surrounding liquid for cooling during submerged operation.
The hydraulic system uses an Open S-tube impeller with a 400.5 mm actual diameter for managing untreated wastewater containing solids. The nominal duty head is 9.69 m. The design features DN 300 inlet and outlet connections for high-capacity wastewater transfer while reducing the risk of clogging in civil collection networks.
Built with an EN-GJL-250 cast iron pump housing and motor casing, the pump features a double mechanical shaft seal arrangement and integrated PTO sensors for motor protection and monitoring. It is supplied with a 10-metre S1BC4N8-F EMC power cable and an IP68 enclosure suitable for installation depths up to 30 metres.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
