Intended for permanent submerged installation, the Grundfos SL.56M.280.4.50D.200 is designed for industrial effluent transfer in treatment plants and collection reservoirs. This cast iron pump holds CE EN12050-1 approval and includes ROHS and WEEE environmental certifications. It is developed for handling untreated wastewater containing solids in industrial sumps.
The unit features a 28 kW 4-pole motor operating at 1490 rpm on a 3 x 415 V supply with a rated current of 60.5 Amps. It provides a maximum head up to 30 m and a maximum flow up to 14880 L/min. The motor is designed for continuous S1 duty, utilizing the surrounding wastewater for cooling during prolonged service periods.
The hydraulic system uses an Open S-tube impeller with a 326 mm actual diameter to manage untreated wastewater containing solids. The nominal duty head is 15.77 m. It incorporates DN 200 inlet and outlet connections, supporting high-volume wastewater transfer while reducing the risk of clogging in high-demand networks.
Construction features an EN-GJL-250 cast iron pump housing and motor casing with double mechanical shaft seals. PTO sensors are included for motor protection and monitoring. The unit is supplied with a 10-metre S1BC4N8-F EMC power cable and an IP68 enclosure suitable for installation depths up to 30 metres.
