Designed for high-head wastewater transfer in municipal infrastructure, the Grundfos SL1.50.65.30.A.EX.2.50B.C holds CE EN12050-2 and IECEX certifications for explosive environments. The pump is suitable for permanent submerged installation in wet wells and basins where untreated wastewater containing solids must be handled.
The pump is powered by a 3 kW 2-pole motor with a rated speed of 2909 rpm. Operating on a 3 x 415V supply with a rated current of 6.4 Amps, it achieves a maximum head up to 22 m and a maximum flow up to 1164 L/min. It is rated for continuous S1 submerged duty in wastewater with a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C. The motor is cooled by the surrounding pumped liquid during normal submerged operation.
The S-tube impeller provides a 50 mm free passage for untreated wastewater containing solids while helping reduce the risk of clogging. Connection sizes include a DN 65 inlet and a DN 65 (2.5") outlet with DIN flanges. The single-vane hydraulic design facilitates the conveying of raw effluents through discharge piping.
Construction includes an EN-GJL-250 cast iron pump housing and motor casing with double SIC/SIC mechanical shaft seals. Integrated moisture and water-in-oil sensors are used for seal and motor monitoring. Winding-embedded thermal switches protect the stator, and the unit includes 10 metres of LYNIFLEX power cable and an IP68 enclosure rating. The pump is suitable for installation depths up to 7 metres.
