Intended for permanent submerged installation, the Grundfos SL1.50.80.30.2.50B.C is designed to maintain wastewater levels and prevent overflows in civil basins. It holds CE EN12050-2 approval and is suitable for collection stations and municipal utility sites. The pump is engineered for handling untreated wastewater in submerged applications.
The pump is powered by a 3 kW 2-pole motor operating at 2909 rpm on a 3 x 415V supply with a rated current of 6.4 Amps. It achieves a maximum head up to 21.6 m and a maximum flow up to 1164 L/min. This model is rated for continuous S1 duty in untreated wastewater containing solids at temperatures up to 40°C. The motor is cooled by the surrounding pumped liquid during normal submerged operation.
The S-tube impeller is designed for untreated wastewater containing solids up to 50 mm while helping reduce the risk of clogging. The unit is equipped with a DN 65 inlet and a DN 80 (3") outlet connection. This single-vane hydraulic design supports the discharge of raw effluents in municipal collection networks.
Construction features an EN-GJL-250 cast iron pump housing and motor casing. Shaft sealing is provided by a double mechanical SIC/SIC arrangement with integrated moisture sensors. The unit includes thermal switches in the windings, Class H insulation, a 10-metre 07RN8-F power cable, and an IP68 rated enclosure. The pump is suitable for installation depths up to 7 metres.
