Industrial wastewater transfer stations utilise the Grundfos SL1.80.100.15.4.50B.C for pumping untreated wastewater containing large solids. Holding CE EN12050-1 approval, this cast iron model is intended for permanent installation in wet wells and basins in municipal and industrial applications.

Operating on a 3 x 415V supply with a rated current of 3.9 Amps, the 1.5 kW 4-pole motor runs at 1451 rpm. It achieves a maximum head up to 8.4 m and maximum flow up to 2118 L/min. This model is rated for continuous S1 submerged duty in untreated wastewater at temperatures up to 40°C. The motor is cooled by the surrounding pumped liquid during normal submerged operation.

The hydraulic design incorporates an S-tube impeller providing an 80 mm free passage for untreated wastewater containing solids. The pump features a DN 100 inlet and a DN 100 (4") outlet with DIN flange standards. This configuration supports the discharge of contaminated media through high-volume transfer systems.

The pump housing and motor casing are constructed from EN-GJL-250 cast iron. Sealing is provided by a double SIC/SIC mechanical arrangement in a primary oil chamber. Integrated moisture sensors are used for seal and motor monitoring, along with winding-embedded thermal switches and 10 metres of 07RN8-F power cable. The pump is suitable for installation depths up to 7 metres.

    FEATURES

    • S-tube impeller with 80 mm free passage for handling solids-laden wastewater without clogging in transfer stations.

    • DN 100 inlet and DN 100 (4") discharge connection for volume-intensive fluid relocation in transfer networks.
    • Double mechanical SIC/SIC shaft seals in an oil chamber providing a redundant moisture barrier for the motor.
    • Integrated moisture sensors for monitoring of internal mechanical components during deep submersion.
    • Built-in thermal switches within the motor winding for automatic electrical safety and heat regulation.
    • 10-metre heavy-duty 07RN8-F power cable and IP68 enclosure for reliable deep-well operation in transfer stations.
