Industrial transfer and deep sumps are the focus of the Grundfos SL1.80.100.30.4.50B.C, a submersible wastewater pump certified under CE EN12050-1. This cast iron model is intended for handling untreated wastewater containing large solids in permanent submerged installations. It is suitable for pumping applications requiring high-flow drainage and transfer.
Operating on a 3 x 415V supply with a rated current of 6.9 Amps, this model features a 3 kW 4-pole motor running at 1453 rpm. It delivers a maximum flow up to 2736 L/min and maximum head up to 12.7 m. The unit is rated for continuous S1 duty in untreated wastewater between 0°C and 40°C. The motor is cooled by the surrounding pumped liquid during normal submerged operation.
The S-tube impeller provides an 80 mm free passage for untreated wastewater containing solids while helping reduce the risk of clogging. Hydraulic connections include a DN 100 inlet and a DN 100 (4") outlet with DIN flanges. This single-vane configuration supports the transfer of raw effluents in industrial pumping systems.
Construction consists of an EN-GJL-250 cast iron pump housing and motor casing. Protection includes a double mechanical SIC/SIC shaft seal system and integrated moisture sensors for seal and motor monitoring. Motor safety is provided by thermal switches in the windings, a 10-metre 07RN8-F power cable, and an IP68 enclosure rating. The pump is suitable for installation depths up to 7 metres.
