Pumping stations and low-lift industrial sumps are the primary applications for the Grundfos SL1.80.80.15.4.50B.C. This submersible wastewater pump holds CE EN12050-1 approval and is intended for untreated wastewater containing large solids. It is suitable for permanent submerged installation in municipal wet wells and basins.
A 1.5 kW 4-pole motor powers the unit at 1451 rpm on a 3 x 415V supply with a rated current of 3.9 Amps. It delivers a maximum head up to 8.1 m and a maximum flow up to 2052 L/min. The motor is calibrated for continuous S1 duty in untreated wastewater with a maximum liquid temperature of 40°C. The motor is cooled by the surrounding pumped liquid during normal submerged operation.
The S-tube impeller is designed for untreated wastewater containing solids up to 80 mm while helping reduce the risk of clogging. The hydraulic design features a DN 100 inlet and a DN 80 (3") outlet connection. This supports the conveying of large solids in treatment plants and municipal pumping stations.
Construction includes an EN-GJL-250 cast iron pump housing and motor casing. Protection features a double SIC/SIC mechanical seal arrangement and winding-integrated thermal switches for motor protection. The unit is equipped with moisture sensors, 10 metres of 07RN8-F power cable, and an IP68 enclosure rating for submerged service. The pump is suitable for installation depths up to 7 metres.
