The Grundfos Unilift KP.150.AV.1 is a submersible drainage pump designed for clean water drainage, storm water handling and grey water applications. Featuring a compact vertical float arrangement, this stainless steel pump is particularly suited to installations where space is limited and conventional float switches may not operate freely. Its corrosion-resistant construction and automatic operation make it suitable for a wide range of domestic drainage and light industrial water transfer duties.
Operating from a standard 240V single-phase electrical supply, the pump utilizes a 0.15 kW (P2) motor drawing a rated current of 1.3 Amps. Designed to provide dependable hydraulic performance, the system generates a maximum flow rate of 142 L/Min through its 1¼ inch discharge connection. The hydraulic design also delivers a maximum head of 5.5 metres, enabling efficient water transfer across a broad range of drainage applications.
Water movement is provided by a semi-open impeller specifically developed for drainage duties. The hydraulic passage permits the movement of particles up to 10 mm in size, making the pump suitable for handling water containing small suspended solids commonly encountered in storm water and grey water applications. Working together with the stainless steel strainer, the pump can reduce water levels down to approximately 100 mm, helping remove accumulated water from pits, tanks and drainage chambers.
Manufactured using stainless steel components in contact with the pumped liquid, the unit provides excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The IP68-rated construction supports liquid temperatures up to 50°C and installation depths of up to 2 metres. Automatic operation is provided by a vertical float switch designed for confined installations, while a non-return valve helps reduce backflow within the discharge line.
