Cramped underground utility pits and narrow drainage chambers often require a pumping solution specifically suited to restricted installation spaces. Built for these conditions, the Unilift KP.250.AV.1 operates as a submersible drainage pump designed for clean water drainage, storm water handling and grey water applications. Its compact vertical float arrangement allows automatic operation where conventional float switches may have limited movement, making it suitable for domestic drainage and light industrial water transfer duties.
Powered by a 0.25 kW (P2) motor operating on a standard 240V power supply, the unit functions with a rated current draw of 2.2 Amps. Designed to handle increased drainage capacity, the system delivers a maximum flow rate of 187 L/Min through its 1¼ inch discharge connection. The hydraulic design also generates a maximum head of 7.5 metres, providing reliable vertical lift performance across a broad range of drainage applications.
Water transfer is provided through a semi-open impeller designed specifically for drainage duties. The hydraulic passage allows particles up to 10 mm in size to pass through the pump, making it suitable for handling water containing small suspended solids. Working together with the stainless steel strainer, the pump can reduce water levels down to approximately 100 mm, helping remove accumulated water from pits, tanks and confined drainage areas.
Constructed with stainless steel components in contact with the pumped liquid, the unit provides excellent corrosion resistance and durability. Rated to IP68 standards, the pump supports liquid temperatures up to 50°C and submerged installation depths of up to 2 metres. A vertical float switch provides automatic operation in restricted spaces, while the integrated non-return valve helps reduce backflow within the discharge line.
