It is built for domestic heating installations where the pump sits within a sealed circuit rather than a potable water line.
At full speed the pump reaches 36.2 L/Min against a maximum head of 6 m, drawing 60 W and 0.28 A from a 1 x 240 V supply across its top setting. The three-speed switch allows output to be reduced on smaller zones, with power stepping down to 50 W at the lowest setting to match actual heat demand.
As with other models in the UPS range, a canned rotor eliminates the mechanical shaft seal, with bearings lubricated by the system water itself. The cast iron housing and composite impeller are rated for liquid temperatures from 2°C to 110°C, covering both standard radiator loops and underfloor manifolds running at lower flow temperatures.
Maximum operating pressure is 10 bar, and the pump carries an IP44 enclosure rating for undercover installation. At 180 mm port-to-port with 1 1/2 inch connections, it shares its footprint with the 130 mm model's wider sibling in the cast iron heating range.
