    Pairs well with

For installers replacing older fixed-speed circulators, the Grundfos UPS 25-60N offers three selectable speeds that allow the pump to be matched to the hydraulic resistance of the system. It is positioned for domestic hot water recirculation loops where performance can be adjusted once the system is balanced, without changing the pump.

At its top setting the pump reaches 31.8 L/Min against 6 m of maximum head, with a maximum power input of 60 W that scales down through three selectable speeds to as low as 50 W at speed one. Rated voltage is 1 x 240 V, and current draw tops out at 0.28 A on the highest setting, giving a wide adjustment range from a single unit.

A canned rotor motor removes the mechanical shaft seal, with the rotor running in the pumped liquid itself and lubricating its own ceramic shaft and bearings. The stainless steel housing and composite impeller are both suited to potable hot water, with a temperature range up to 110°C.

The three-speed switch sits externally for adjustment after commissioning, and the 180 mm port-to-port body with 1 1/2 inch connections fits wider pipe centres than the smaller 150 mm variants. An IP44 enclosure supports undercover fitting in plant rooms or service risers.

    FEATURES

    • Three manually selectable speed settings permit field adjustment without replacing the pump
    • Canned rotor construction integrates the pump and motor into a single sealed assembly without a mechanical shaft seal
    • Ceramic shaft and bearings are lubricated directly by the pumped liquid
    • Stainless steel housing and rotor can assembly provide corrosion resistance in potable hot water
    • Composite impeller construction delivers consistent hydraulic performance in domestic water
    • External speed selector switch permits adjustment without dismantling the pump
    • Extended 180 mm port-to-port body dimension accommodates wider pipe centres
