High-rise apartment blocks and commercial premises with extended reticulation networks require a pump capable of delivering the head necessary to overcome vertical lift and long pipe runs. The Grundfos UPS 32-100N is the largest of the UPS N stainless range, designed for those systems where standard circulators cannot maintain circulation to upper floors.

The pump reaches 124.2 L/Min at its top speed against a maximum head of 10 m, with a 345 W motor drawing up to 1.52 A across a 1 x 240 V supply. Three selectable speeds, stepping from 280 W to 340 W and up to full output, allow commissioning engineers to match delivered head to the actual riser height rather than running the largest setting by default.

Its canned rotor construction follows the same principle as the rest of the range, with bearings lubricated by the pumped water itself and the mechanical seal removed from the design. Stainless steel wetted parts and a composite impeller keep it suitable for potable water at temperatures from -25°C to 110°C.

Given its higher power draw, the enclosure steps up to IPX4D for improved ingress protection, and insulation class is rated H rather than F. At 180 mm port-to-port with 2 inch connections, it is suited to installations at the base of a riser or plant room manifold.

    FEATURES

    • Tallest head rating in the UPS N range at 10 m for high-rise and extended reticulation networks
    • Three-speed selector permits commissioning engineers to match delivered head to actual riser height
    • Canned rotor construction with self-lubricating bearings eliminates the mechanical shaft seal
    • IPX4D enclosure rating provides ingress protection against splashing water and dust
    • Class H insulation (180°C) supports continuous operation at full 345 W load
    • Stainless steel housing with potable water approval and liquid temperature tolerance from -25°C to 110°C
    • Larger 2 inch connections support higher flow volumes for commercial and multi-dwelling applications
    • 180 mm port-to-port body dimension provides consistency across the UPS N range
