Product Overview
The Lowara 12GS11 is a submersible borehole wet end within the e-GS range, meeting ErP directives with MEI values above 0.40. Pairing this pump end with a compatible 1.1 kW (1.47 HP) electric motor is required for full operation. Standard well installation is vertical, although horizontal mounting is available with motor-dependent limits.
The external sleeve is fabricated from stainless steel to limit water corrosion. Internally, a floating impeller stack incorporates 7 stages made of PC/PPO + PS polymer components. This multi-stage setup allows the handling of suspended sand up to a maximum concentration of 150 grams per cubic meter.
When coupled with a 1.1 kW motor (drawing 7.6 Amps on 240 V single-phase), the complete assembly achieves a maximum head of 26.1 m. The pump end delivers a maximum flow of 250 L/Min via an Rp 2" (50 mm) outlet. Volumetric parameters are validated under official testing guidelines.
The pump end is specified for water temperatures up to 35°C during service. Submersion limit is 150 meters with 4OS motors, or up to 300 meters with L4C motor options. Horizontal operation is possible using 4OS motors up to 2.2 kW and L4C motors up to 7.5 kW. The multi-stage design requires proper coupling with standard motors to maintain correct performance under standard system heads.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.

How much maintenance does the Lowara 12GS11 need?
Virtually none. The sealed bearings and shaft seals are lubricated for life, giving you years of trouble-free daily pumping.
How deep can the Lowara 12GS11 push water from underground?
With a maximum head of 26 m, it easily lifts water from deep bore shafts and pushes it across long pipe runs without losing pressure.
Will sand in my bore water ruin the Lowara 12GS11?
No, it won't. It uses Lowara's floating impeller design to handle up to 150 g/m³ of sand without clogging or wearing down internal parts.
Can I run the Lowara 12GS11 off a farm generator or solar inverter?
Yes, as long as your generator matches its 1.1 kW requirement. It is designed for continuous duty on a 240 V single-phase supply.
