Product Overview
Specified as a standalone hydraulic pump end, the Lowara 12GS15 belongs to the e-GS series for deep well extraction. Pairing with a compatible 1.5 kW (2.0 HP) motor is necessary for system operation. Standard vertical casing installation is standard, but horizontal mounting is specified within motor limits.
Constructed with a stainless steel casing, the pump end protects internal hydraulic components from rust. The multi-stage assembly incorporates 10 floating impellers made of PC/PPO + PS polymer. It permits continuous handling of sand in water up to 150 grams per cubic meter.
Pairing this pump end with its required 1.5 kW motor (10.5 Amps current on 240 V single-phase supply) enables a maximum head of 37.3 m. The coupled system produces a maximum flow of 250 L/Min discharging through a 50 mm Rp outlet. Performance curves conform to factory specifications.
During continuous operation, the wet end handles fluid temperatures up to 35°C. Operating depth limits are 150 meters with 4OS motors and up to 300 meters with L4C motors. Horizontal mounting is possible with 4OS motors up to 2.2 kW and L4C motors up to 7.5 kW. The multi-stage design requires proper coupling with standard motors to maintain correct performance under standard system heads.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
Will sand in my bore water ruin the Lowara 12GS15?
It uses Lowara's floating impeller design to handle up to 150 g/m³ of sand without clogging or wearing down internal parts.
Can I run the Lowara 12GS15 off a farm generator or solar inverter?
Yes, as long as your generator matches its 1.5 kW requirement. It is designed for continuous duty on a 240 V single-phase supply.
Is the Lowara 12GS15 safe to use in mineral-heavy or salty groundwater?
The pump uses stainless-steel wetted components; suitability for saline or aggressive water should be confirmed against the manufacturer's liquid-compatibility limits.
What pipe size connects to the Lowara 12GS15 discharge port?
It fits a standard 50 mm outlet connection. Using the right pipe diameter ensures you get the full 250 L/Min discharge flow.
