The Lowara 12GS40-3, a three-phase submersible bore pump, handles continuous operation from 4-inch boreholes where reliable high-volume, high-head delivery is essential. Its floating impeller configuration supports performance in water containing suspended solids.
A 4.0 kW three-phase motor on 415 V draws 9.8 Amps during normal operation. Maximum flow reaches 250 L/Min, while maximum head extends to 100.9 metres at shut-off. The motor requires a minimum fluid velocity of 8 cm/s around the casing for effective cooling, and supports up to 30 starts per hour. This performance suits applications requiring substantial lift and volume.
Inside the hydraulic section, floating impellers allow suspended particles up to 150 g/m³ to pass without compromising internal clearances. The hexagonal pump shaft delivers torque reliably across all stages, while the front wear ring works with the floating impeller to improve abrasion resistance. An integrated stainless steel check valve prevents destructive backflow when the motor stops.
Precision-cast stainless steel upper and lower support brackets maintain alignment between the pump and motor. The 99 mm diameter casing fits standard 4-inch boreholes, with a 50 mm threaded outlet. Rated for continuous immersion in liquids up to 35°C, the complete unit comes with a heatshrink kit for secure electrical connections.

- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
