Product Overview
The Lowara 16GS15 pump end is a multi-stage hydraulic wet end designed for borehole extraction in the e-GS range. Starting operation requires coupling the unit with a 1.5 kW (2.0 HP) motor. Standard structural configuration allows vertical mounting or horizontal deployment.
The pump end uses a stainless steel external casing to prevent corrosion. The floating impeller system incorporates 8 stages fabricated from wear-resistant polymer. This multi-stage setup handles suspended sand up to a maximum of 150 grams per cubic meter.
Coupled with the required 1.5 kW motor drawing a nominal current of 10.5 Amps on 240 V single-phase supply, the pump end achieves a maximum head of 30.6 m. This system provides a maximum flow of 367 L/Min via its Rp 2" (50 mm) connection. Operating curves are fully validated.
This borehole pump end is specified for water temperatures up to 35°C. The unit is specified for deep immersion up to 150 meters with a 4OS motor or 300 meters with an L4C motor. Horizontal operation is possible with 4OS motors up to 2.2 kW and L4C motors up to 7.5 kW. The multi-stage design requires proper coupling with standard motors to maintain correct performance under standard system heads.

- Suitable for continuous submerged operations in liquid temperatures reaching up to a maximum of 35°C.
Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
How many sprinklers can the Lowara 16GS15 run at the same time?
With a peak flow of 367 L/Min, it delivers plenty of volume to run large farm irrigators or multiple garden sprinkler lines simultaneously.
What happens if my bore water level drops below the Lowara 16GS15?
This is a wet-end assembly and does not include a motor. Pair it with a compatible motor and use the motor/controller manufacturer's recommended overload and dry-run protection.
How much maintenance does the Lowara 16GS15 need?
Virtually none. The sealed bearings and shaft seals are lubricated for life, giving you years of trouble-free daily pumping.
How deep can the Lowara 16GS15 push water from underground?
With a maximum head of 30 m, it easily lifts water from deep bore shafts and pushes it across long pipe runs without losing pressure.
